Another day of travel

This morning was probably our last sleep in for a while. After this we will be under the thumb of a tour guide and having to get up early to make the bus etc. We had a nice relaxing morning, a buffet breakky, and then I went back to bed. Joe’s coughing during the night kept me awake and I needed just a small kip to catch up.

We checked our small bags with the porter then caught the 1pm shuttle to Terminal 5 at Heathrow. This trip took about 30mins, and of course dropped us at the opposite end of the terminal from where we had to check-in. After a quick look in the shops we had a hassle free jaunt through security, then sat back in the BA lounge until our flight at 5pm. This gave me time once again to catch up on my blogging. The fight is due to arrive at 11:40pm in Cairo, so it will be a late one tonight so I am happy for the extra kip after breakfast this morning. Tomorrow is the start of our Egypt tour and I am very excited.
