Today we were driven by coach up to the old part of Prague to look at the Palace. We joined our local guide who gave us some information about the ruling family back hundreds of years ago and how they expanded their borders.
We also got the chance to see fantastic sights over the city of Prague, with all its church spires. We enter one of the many churhes to view more magnificent windows and church architecture. We are not allowed to take photos, which is a pity as some of this stuff you you wouldn't believe unless you can see it.
Wandering the streets of Prague

From here we walked with guide down into the centre of Prague, stopping along the way to view many sites and take photos. We are left to our own devices for the rest of the afternoon.
We stay with a couple from Cleveland Ohio, Bill and Robin, and walk through the Powder Tower, a big black tower structure, enter a grand hotel and head downstairs to the pub. Here we have a hot meal which is just scrumptious. After this we head out for a walk around the centre of Prague - making our way over to the Charles Bridge. Here is the mecca for artists to sell their water colour painting of Prague to Tourists, as well as buskers and other jewellery artists to sell their wares.

We get dumped on by a sudden shower of rain. We then wander back to the city square and to the astronomical clock tower, where to enter the lift to rise to the top of the tower to view the entire city of Prague from the city centre.
We decide it is time to head back towards the hotel as Robin and I have throbbing feet. We walk back over the Charles Bridge and walk about halfway back to the hotel before catching a taxi. I then have a very quick rest before getting dressed up for our traditional Czech dinner at a local restaurant.
The night starts off with a shot of schnapps which warms us from the inside out! It is then on to our traditional meal and the restaurant entertainment. Joe decides to buy our own bottle of the schnapps and Joe, Robin and myself polish the entire bottle off during the rest of the meal.
Suffice to say Robin and I are very happy and having a fantastic night. After being pulled up onto the floor to take part in a Czech dance, we say goodnight and head back to the hotel.
How can we serve you better?
