The Golden Wheel is a small hotel located in the heart of Prague's city center, on a street that is as historic as it is picturesque. The hotel has 17 guestrooms, which are divided between the principal building and a Baroque villa in the courtyard. All of the air conditioned rooms are equipped with bathrobes, minibars and complimentary high speed Internet access, and have modern private bathrooms with black and white tiling. The wooden floors give a warm feel to the rooms, some of which feature painted wooden beams or stucco ceilings, and enjoy views of the castle. The glass balcony also enjoys panoramic views. Limited hours room service is available and there is a coffee shop where guests can sip Italian coffee and order from a range of cold snacks, salads, filled rolls and cakes. For those needing the web access, the hotel offers complimentary high speed wireless Internet in public areas. Tourist visitors will find the compact and historic city center can be explored on foot, with many of its famous attractions, such as the Prague Castle and Wenceslas Square beings just a few minutes walk from the hotel's doorstep. The hotel is approximately 20 kilometers (12 miles), or a 30 minute drive, from the airport.
