Welcome to my blog! Here's a little background information. I've been a History and Political Science high school teacher for five years. During my summer vacations I took the opportunity to do "short term" travel which I thoroughly enjoyed. Three years ago I began my Masters in History (while still teaching and coaching wrestling). With my schedule especially full and feeling a little overwhelmed I needed something to look forward to. That's where the idea for this trip began. The plan is to circumnavigate the globe moving east. At this site you will find written and pictoral updates on my trip around the world.
