    From Dublin International Airport (DUB): Distance to Merrion is 13 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive. Getting there. Number 747 and 748 Airlink buses connect the airport to Dublin city centre, and depart every 15 minutes. Tickets can be bought from the driver and the single fare is about 5 EUR. A 24 hour service to central Dublin and Dublin South is offered by Aircoach. Local bus services regularly depart from the arrivals terminal, connecting to destinations throughout the city and its suburbs. Taxis cost about 18 EUR 20 EUR to the city centre. Prices are all subject to change. Getting around. The Merrion hotel is on Upper Merrion Street. Dublin city centre and Temple Bar's cobbled streets can easily be explored on foot. Dublin's extensive double decker bus system and tram network operate throughout the city and the suburbs. Taxis are available at ranks, and can also be hailed on the street. Parking in the city centre is limited and expensive, but a car is recommended for exploring further afield. There is onsite garage parking (surcharge). DRIVING DIRECTIONS. From Dublin International Airport: Take the A41 motorway towards city centre Turn left on North Fredrick Street Bear right on Nassau Street in the direction of Merrion Square. Turn right onto Merrion Square West. The hotel is on the left hand side.
