Birthday bender continues onto Barcelona!!!

So far it has been one hell of a birthday... Ibiza was insane but now we moved onto Barcelona to begin after party celebrations. We arrived to our friends house in Barcelona looking a little worse for wear. Three days in Ibiza had taken its toll and we were not exactly looking crash hot. Nevertheless the birthday bender must continue!! Natalie had organised a surprise Barcelona party wth our friends. It was really nice to have a little party organised for me instead of being in a hostel or another night club.

Natalie left me behind and went shopping and began cooking up a storm at our friends house. We started off very sophisticated with a cheese plattr and red wine for entree. A few hours later mains were ready. Gourmet pizzas were on the menu. Natalie had hand made the bases and the toppings were designed especially for me. It was all of my favourite things (savoury wise) on one pizza. Salmon, rocket, lots of cheese, tomato, garlic, salami and ham. There were three different pizzas and each were absolutely delicious. Natalie really set a high standard for pizzas and they were the best home made pizzas ever and even better was that they were especially for me. Some more red wine and then was cake time. Now the cake was the highlight. It was a chocolate mascapone cake and was soooo delicious it was the best chocolate cake ever.... Big call but very true. Three courses later we moved onto some vodka and baileys to end the celebrations. It was a great birthday even though i didnt have family or all my friends with us. But Natalie truely made it a really special and relaxed night which was good come down after Ibiza. So all in all it was the best birthday ever and I have Natalie to thank for making it such a good day. The best birthday present i could ask for is such a good friend!!!
