Hi Again All,
Well we have come over to Karratha/Dampier and had a look around. After leaving Newman we went to Karajini National Park and camped there for2 nights. The Gorges here are quite spectacular and it truly is amazing that they are not widely advertised. We walked across the top of the gorges, down into the gorges, along the gorges and then had to climb OUT of the gorges. I was buggered!!! But all worth it, the scenery was sooooo beautiful!!!
After leaving Karajini we went onto Karratha/Dampier - Tried to catch up with a mate here but he had gone down south for a couple of days - where to?? Victoria of course, into Melbourne until early next week.

Had some problems with the car today, the back tailgate on the station wagon would not open, so had to call the RACV who happily sent out a man from the RACWA, who very happily dropped in and helped. Got it open eventually!!! And had to9 goand buy some new bits, thank the lord for Auto Wreckers I say!!!
While I was doing this, the girls and Donna went fishing, with Steph catching 3 fish. One was a WA Blowfish which is poisonous so she threw it back, the next was a Doddy Cod but was too small, so she threw it back, then she caught a Yellow Finned Bream which was a good size so she kept it. Whilst all this was going on a fisherman came in on his small boat and had a chat to the girls and said, "I cant take all this home, why don't you have some!!" and handed over a Snapper and a Queenfish. Tea was VERY yummy tonight, believe me!!! Check out the photo's - I've uploaded some new ones.
