Saint Petersburgh

Saint Petersburg was very cold although very beautiful.

We had a very keen local guide who took us on a 5 hour city walk instead of 2 hrs. Normally this would prove value for money but in -20 degrees it wasn't so well recieved. I do recall asking her several times if we were walking towards the restaurant for lunch.

Niet Niet this evening.

Russia also has the longest escalators down to the metro i have ever seen. I thought we were heading towards the centre of the world, instead it was just the crusty metro.
