Sunday - Arrived early in the morning so had to get up at 3.30am. Brisbane was hot and sunny and the hotel was great. Own washing machine and dryer so managed to get some fresh clothes again. Had a couple of hours rest before heading over to Richards cousin Emerson. Emerson had organised a few friends at his house so had a party there. Was really nice afternoon catching up with family. Turned into a drinking session as usual but managed to keep sober enough to find a taxi back to the hotel.

Monday - Chill out day in Brisbane and was not feeling too bad considering. Walked down through the shopping district to the Botanical Gardens. Then onto the South Bank where they have a great outdoor swimming area. They ship 70 tonnes of white sand from Moreton Bay to make a really chilled out area. Needed to cool of as Brisbane is very hot. Then headed down river to have a look Hamilton and the redeveloped warehouses.

Tuesday - Heading onto Cairns. Wish at this moment we were staying in Brisbane as the weather here is great. Cairns has more tropical storms on the way.
