Today was a very slow day due to our late arrival yesterday in Vegas and our late sleep-in. There was no stopping Paula as she headed out at 10:30 to hit the strip while Joe and I were still sleeping. We eventually dragged ourselves out of bed and had breakky in the 24hr restaurant in the hotel called "Tropical Breeze" cafe. After this we had a brief look through the flamingo habitat seeing the wildlife they keep at the resort.

After Joe not being able to get the internet to work the previous night on our arrival he decided he wanted to have one more go at this. We headed back up to the room where I was very happy to put my head back on the pillow for 40 winks while Joe battled with the laptop. After spending over an hour on the phone to one of his mates back in Australia - there was no more progress. Joe was very frustrated and was saying he was going to go down to Fry's (massive computer warehouse) and buy a new laptop.

The Bellagio Conservatory

We decided to hit the strip and headed towards the Bellagio, New York, New York and the MGM Grand Casinos. We didn't think too much of NY,NY (in fact I got in trouble for taking a photo in the casino). When we went into the MGM grand we headed straight for the Lion habitat and saw that they had a young Male lion in there. I took heaps of photos here.

After this we walked our way back down the strip to our hotel to meet up with Paula. She had finally got back to the room and she was, how you say, broken. She had spent a good solid 7 or so hours on her feet walking around and just wanted to collapse in bed.

Joe and I headed downstairs to the in-house buffet for dinner.  Even though I was looking forward to checking out their buffet, I wasn't that impressed with their selections or more to the point - their combinations/recipe's. I did however have a good serving of desert!! yum!

One more time Joe tried to contact the internet support people when we got back to the room, and this time actually got onto someone who knew what they were doing. 10mins later and our Internet problem was fixed. So hopefully I am back on the air now till we get to New York on Sunday (Monday in BrisVegas).

We decided to turn in early this night as we had to be up and ready for a 6am pickup for a tour the next day.
