Woke up late, my feet kinda recovered. Guess what kids it's laundry day. Took a shower and. headed to the camp's laundromat.

Got back to camp just in time for a thunderstorm. We tried to watch a movie but, rain on a plastic roof. is loud!

When the downpour changed to rain we ran for the van. Stopped by the camp store for rain gear then headed for the metro.

Water from the sky, this is new to us from Arizona.

By the time we got to DC the rain had passed. Guess we didn't need the rain gear. But if we didn't buy rain gear, it would have continued.

We got to an art museum. It has art from everywhere but the US.

When the place was closing I had made it to the lobby. I was looking for a map, since I left mine at camp. And the guard said in a nasty tone "We are closed please exit the building!"

Hey dude my taxes pay you, don't be rude. Guess it was good enough for government work.

Hey it stopped raining.

We head over to the National Portrait gallery. Lots more pictures, statues and guards who suddenly turn rude at closing.

We head over to Chinatown. Not much here but restaurants. We stop in a gift shop that smells like 200 cats have sprayed. My eyes were burning, I have to get out of here, and I'm the cat person.

We eat at the New Big Wongs. Food was good, wonder if they served us those cats?

We drag ourselves back to camp. Pop popcorn. It was Chinese food and a half an hour back after all.
