Today was the last day on this series of bus trips. We started out at 7:30am for our first two and a half hours. Coming towards the end of this first step in today's journey, we overtook a Trafalgar Tours bus, which we all cheered about as our tour director Monica said they would be stopping at the same place and we could beat them to the washrooms!! Mass cheering all round. This however was short lived, as our bus driver parked the bus, the other driver stopped his bus at the door to McDonalds and let his passengers off before ours!! arrgh - hate it when a plan gets messed up.

After a 30min break it was back on the road for another two hours 40mins to the city of Poznan. This city was once the capital of Poland, and is a bustling centre. We were dropped off near the "Old Town" centre and were taken on a short walk by the tour director to the Town square. Here were were given 75mins to take photos, find something to eat and be back on the bus by 2pm. A couple of us stopped at a local cafe/restaurant, and enjoyed soups and salad. We only just made it back to the bus on time!

Another 90mins and we stopped again at a service station for our afteroon loo break. Here we had a little trouble as we had all gotten rid of all our local currency at lunch, only to find we all needed a 1 Zloty coin to use the washrooms. This was eventually worked out with currency exchanges between everyone. By now we have gone through something like 7 different currencies, where a lot of the coins look the same, so most of the time we don't know if we are handing over a 1 dollar coin or a 10cent coin!

Our last driving stint was 90mins and had us pulling up at the hotel at 6:30pm, making it a very long day. We all met in the hotel restaurant for our last included dinner and enjoyed the provided buffet. After this it took about an hour to say our goodbye and happy/safe travel wishes to our fellow travellers. We all agreed that it was a great group of people, and a fast paced, tiring tour, but we all enjoyed it immensely.
