Another training day, as usual. Very happy with the course and the teacher is excellent. Tomorrow is supposed to rain, so we decided to take a Haunted History Tour of the French Quarter. Pat didn't get much of a chance to tour around yet, so this would be a good one. We got our tickets early and headed to famous Pat O'Briens pub and checked out the dueling pianos. It was Wednesday night, so explainably they weren't that good. But hey, it was free! After one drink, we headed to the outside terrace, which was heated with outdoor heaters. It was a lot cooler this week, more like a crisp fall. Which was great anyways, considering the temperature back home! We couldn't complain.

Then the tour... we were a large group. Almost twenty. We heard some really good stories. The first one was about a hotel that used to be a boarding school. It burned down and some kids perished and now they haunt the hotel. Some of the guests of the hotel were on the haunted tour. So of course they were shitting their pants! lol! We also heard the story of Delphine Lalaurie, a high society french woman, who tortured and killed her slaves and burried them (some alive) in the floorboards of the house. Her house is the most haunted in the city and was just bought by Nicolas Cage. Anyways, it's a really cool but really freaky story!

We also saw where they filled part of Interview with the Vampire.  That was neat.

After the tour, we went for a beer and listened to some more live jazz.   We didn't stay out too late.  More training tomorrow.
