Sienna, then back to Roma

Back on the bus today for our 4-5 hour trip on the bus back to Rome. We stopped mid-morning in Sienna where we walked into the town square and quickly located a cafe for a cappucino. The stop was only for 45 mins and we were back on the bus. We stopped at an AutoGrill (like our BP stations on the way up the coast) for lunch, before the final stretch to Rome.

We arrived about 3:30pm, where after an afternoon kip, and a drink at the hotel bar, Joe, myself, Paula and Mary from California hopped in a taxi over to where our previous hotell had been when we originally left Rome. Here we stopped at a restaurant for a meal, before picking up the luggage we left behind and returned to our hotel. We returned to the bar and were joined by some of the other team members for our evening cuppa and chat. We all agreed we were happy to be back in Rome and finished with the bus trips (for the time being). None of us were looking forward to the early 7am start fhe following day for the Vatican tour.
