Li Bai Cantonese Restaurant boasts a superior setting decorated in the traditional colors of lacquered red walls and black chairs. Elegant tables are set with pure-jade plate holders, ivory-sterling chopsticks and fine china. The clear winter melon soup is packed with melon, beef strips, scallops, prawns and crab meat while the shark's fin soup is sautéed with crab meat and served in a rich stock. Other dishes to try include fried cod fillet with garlic sauce or bamboo shoots wrapped with pan-fried beef. The wine list is adequate with mainly New World wines.

The wine list includes more than 600 types of wine. Service is impeccable and the staff knowledgeable hardly surprising as the restaurant is on the itinerary of ministers and visiting heads of state.
