The town of Assisi in Italy with its roman ruins, winding medieval streets, and sacred shrines is wonderful place for a vacation. Tourists can go to the Basilica of St. Francesco d’Assisi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The town is also dominated by two Medieval castles and there is wonderful shopping in the historic center.
