For those of you visiting Prescott, the Hotel Vendome offers a great location, one-half block away from Prescott’s bustling Courthouse Square, and in walking distance to the famed Whiskey Row. Built in 1917, this famed hotel is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Tiffany Owens, Marketing Manager at the hotel, describes the hotel, “Hotel Vendome is a landmark, boutique hotel and independently owned and operated family business. Formerly 30 rooms, a major renovation was completed in the ’80s to give each room a private bath, but still preserved the building’s historical integrity. We now have 20 comfortably appointed rooms- Kings, Queens, and two-room suites–some of which still have the original clawfoot tubs and pull-chain toilets.” Over the years, numerous celebrities have enjoyed staying at the hotel including “Clint Eastwood, Roseanne Cash, Johnny Rodriguez, Michelle Phillips (The Mamas & The Papas), The Byrds, and John Ratzenberger (Cliff Clavin from “Cheers”), as well as Tom Mix, Hollywood’s first Western film megastar, who would rent a room at the hotel for a year at a time while filming in the Prescott area in the 1920s-30s.”
